I had the chance to visit the Angkor Wat recently, and it was magnificent. I tried to imagine its past grandeur when there were kings, elephants, troops; and when Angkor Wat was still full of colors. The structure was huge and I couldn’t help but be amazed at how people achieved this in the past with their limited technology and tools. Sheer perseverance I suppose.

The structure may be big, but even bigger still are the people’s hearts and the king’s ambitions and dreams for the nation.
