I’ve been thinking of getting a SLR camera to practise my photography and recently i managed to get hold of a Canon AE1 model for this purpose.  Went for a photowalk last Saturday at a familiar stretch of road and snapped some shots.

It’s been a therapeutic walk and I’ve tried to take my time to try out the camera, check on the exposure and focus, and slowly try to frame my shots. Unlike the usual digital combinations, you’ve really got to be patient and wait for the film negatives to be developed. It was a long wait compared to instant gratification digital.

But nonetheless,  it has been interesting and I’m looking forward to try out more photowalks with my new toy. 🙂
